As a Fish & Chip specialist, we want everything to be perfect- the right balance of crisp batter and fluffy, crispy chips. But there’s more to Craft & Harbour than this. We have our chefs working to bring you new and exciting dishes with traditional twists.
When it comes to the traditional suppers, all of our fish is fresh and from sustainable sources. We take full advantage of Ayrshire’s fantastic fish supplies so that we can serve a traditional Scottish supper at the highest possible standard. We cook our fish and chips to order so that it doesn’t dry out under lights -as is too often the case.
We peel and cut our locally farmed Ayrshire potatoes and twice cook them at different temperatures to produce the perfect chip. Crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle.
At Craft & Harbour we also serve a variety of ‘classic’ chippy suppers prepared to the highest possible standards and as ever, we use the very best ingredients we can find. A. Picken and Sons of Ayr, supply us with their delicious Stornaway black pudding, sausage, haggis and veggie haggis. We also have a must-try vegan, smoked tofu supper.
Our “game changing” sauces, pickles and mushy peas are all made in-house (apart from the classic Heinz ketchup, of course).
